1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE An Apology for Absence was received from Mrs D Hogben and Borough Councillor Robey.
2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST Declarations of Pecuniary Interest There were no Declarations of Pecuniary Interest from councillors present.
Declarations of Significant Interest There were no Declarations of Significant Interest from councillors present.
i) updating of Declarations of Interest for the Code of Conduct Councillors are reminded that they should update their Declarations of Interest with the Monitoring Officer if necessary.
3. PUBLIC INTERVAL The meeting was opened from 7.02 – 7.24 for discussion with Mr Starley, who updated councillors on his work with the young people of Hothfield. He said the youth workers are working hard to try and help the young people’s self-image and trying to encourage them to enrol onto training courses or to find suitable employment. He feels that they are making headway with the youngsters and hopes to be in a position to apply to hire the village again at some point. He has funding for the project until March 2016.
4. ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING Minutes 137 of the meeting held on 7 January 2015 were accepted and it was unanimously agreed that Mr Krause should sign them.

5. MATTERS FOR REPORT ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES Mr Howard has the signs for the salt bin and the MUGA.
The abandoned car has been removed by the owner.

Email Correspondence – all emails received are forwarded to all councillors Mrs Bennett re fly tipping and general disposal of litter – Mr Krause will forward to Borough councillor Robey and ask him to reply.
Update on Provision of Broadband in Hothfield Nothing to report.
Litter Picker’s Terms and Conditions The Clerk will send Mr Marden some time sheets and ask him to complete them so that we know how long it takes him to do each area of the village.
Funding of Hothfield Newsletter Deferred until after the election, when councillors will discuss this again if necessary.
Installation of Equipment in the Play Area Mr Krause is in discussion with officers from ABC regarding this.
Clerk’s CiLCA The Clerk will complete section 7 and submit it to the SLCC.
Date of Annual Parish Meeting and Annual Parish Council Meeting The Annual Parish meeting will be held on 17 April 2015 at the Village Hall at 7.00 pm and the Annual Parish Council meeting on Thursday 14 May 2015 at the Bluebell Centre at 7.00 pm.
7. FINANCE

Resolution: Councillors unanimously agreed to pay the above accounts and noted the Direct Debit Payment to EDF for the electricity for the MUGA, taken on the 1st of each month for £21.00.

8. PLANNING Please see attached.
9. FORUM FOR EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION BETWEEN COUNCILLORS It was agreed to hold the Garden Competition bi-annually, during the year that we do not hold a Summer Fete.
The Clerk was asked to report the following to KHS:- Potholes in Cade Road, Park Drive and on the junction of The Street and School Road The water leak outside of Alder House The Clerk was asked to prepare the thank you letters for the litter pickers.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.14 pm.
